A scar on my foot from a performance as a dancer, back when I also owned a dance studio and trained or taught every day. A few years later, a COVID infection left me feeling drained: pale skin, trembling muscles, and a nervous system in dysautonomia. Many days at home, staring at the same walls, the same ceiling.
And now? Grey hair appears and without any effort I carry heavy groceries upstairs again. Clothing sizes grow, hands get wrinkled and yet, I still recognize myself.
My body has been exhausted, and I have experienced it as infinite and unbeatable. It fascinates me that this body is the vessel through which I experience life. A collection of coincidences that so deeply shapes how I move through the world and how I am able to move.
There is so much more to tell. This body caries my life.
I open a space to deepen your connection with yourself and your body. This can be through the Epiphora Method or through Somatic Movement, such as a workshop like The Playful Space. One is very pragmatic, the other exploratory and playful.
I find it important to encourage you to follow your own path, to follow the guidance of your own body. We practice sensing, becoming aware: what do you notice, and where does your curiosity lead you? Exploring the right question is often more interesting than the answer itself.
